From the darkness a lantern lights your way.

heh, a random school project I did. I got really sketchy on the second half *the larger building, and lanterns to the right* and even though it could have been better it's one of those projects your proud of. I really like how it turned out dispite some things.

anyways, any future suggestions? I know I can take a lot especially for the sky. Heh, I don't do pencil shadding like this... much ever.

whoa!! Amazing shading! I give a thumbs...no.. two thumbs up!! great work! I love the detail so much. It seems kinda rushed.. the way the shading exceeds the outlines, but nonthe less, it is fantastic! Once again, the lighting really makes it amazing

Very cool drawing. Really like how you've worked subtractivly. Very nice job the lighting. This would be outstanding drawn in charcoal. That way you could get awesome contrast. I'm not saying you don't have good contrast in this drawing. The graphite(sp) in pencils always gray out a drawing.

I agree with Mirabex. Draw what you see and not what you think you see or what you think somthing should look like. I'm still working on that myself.
