Family portrait of the false monarchy which fell with Samudeli's rule (black dragon).

Lots of background here, but this was an assignment of a "family portrait" where I decided to draw my villain's family. That's little Selqura in the purple. She would be known as Mera's main nemesis.

If you believe me I actually FORGOT this was on my computer? Originally, I hadn't uploaded it as it is highly imperfect, but... I have other things to attend to, so I'll show it, now. I would love to tell more about the backstory of the entire piece, but you'll get that if I ever actually put it into writing.

The characters present: Lyserious, Samudeli, Alethias, Selqura and her brother who doesn't have a set in stone name yet. Lyserious is the uncle, in case you were curious.

Edit: hahaa, wow. ignore the photo information there to the right. I'm surprised it still is stuck to the image, actually. I didn't have scanner access, so the ink I painted this over I just took a photograph of. Kind of a nice technique, because it forces you to work over lines instead of around them.
