I should spread out my uploads, but I've been excited to show this!
This was my second piece (Indigenous Sorcery was the first) that made it into the Spring Show at my school! it was a three week final, although the last week was mostly spent screwing around.
crosshatching on toned paper. (I may be an overachiever)
portraits are really not my strong suit, at all and so this piece really caught my eye. I love charcoal pieces that use the paper as a medium tone. my mother loves charcoal and paint, and i wish i could grasp this detail and perspective in this medium i call my personal demon.
