More fun with frames and animals. This will be available for sale at FC this coming weekend! Please visit my table as I'll have a few pieces out in the open and the rest will be up at the art show. Many of these look far neater in person!

My boyfriend and I tackled the store and picked up a ton of frames to help inspire artwork: [link]
It's fun to allow the frame to help develop what will fall inside of it rather than the other way around. I always feel like its next to impossible to find the perfect frame for a piece of artwork... so this helps push that process along!

Yeah, but it's the artwork that really makes the frames. They'd just be kinda silly if I put pictures of my dog in it or something. Maybe I can do something with illuminations.

I love the painting! I really like there colors and lighting and shapes ^^ It almost seem like the owl in the painting is showing off to the one on frame, haha, the macho owl and the lady owl :giggle: I wish they would interact more together, now they feel a bit separated when neither one of them looks at the other. Though the frame is super sweet, nice catch :)

I didn't want to have too much interaction with the owl at the time, in case someone decided they didn't want this frame and switched it out later, but that would have been a very cute idea! Maybe I'll do something like that for another piece. I sort of envisioned the owls to be of separate universes, and more of a linking theme.
