Aeikai and Saetharo sat side by side, eyes watching the performers.  Even so, neither had their thoughts upon the spectacles before them, but instead on the events past.

"I worry about her.  I haven't seen Spikka all day. Now Auch is missing, and Kinsedi ran off as well.  I can't place my fingers on what it is, but something feels wrong," Aeikai stated.

"I feel it too," Saetharo answered.  While he had kept on a cool expression that betrayed nothing of his emotions, within himself he was skipping about, wondering what was happening.  "But we mustn't let our thoughts dwell upon such matters.  Come; let us take enjoyment in the entertainment

(God damn, why do they have to make the categorization so confusing?)

Anyway, the Kanakah dragons are the firedragons of Tisitan. They live in the volcanic islands far off the coast, and their scales are fireproof.
... and they're fun to draw.

I love the clouds and the movement in the pose of the dragon. The texture in it's scales are nice also.

I'm really fascinated by the colours, though; it's hard to colour in reds and oranges and yellows without it being retina burning and unpleasant to look at.

I think maybe part of why it isn't that way is because it gradually moves up to the brighter colours. Aaand I'm ranting. >.>

I've found that using gradients (ish) when working with any color tends to give it some more body.
And reds and warm colors are amazing to work with.

Thankfully, they kept your most used gallery descrips in plain sight. ^^; I'm really digging the background. It can give off the impression its the dragon's fire or the rising/setting sun.

My favorite thing about this piece is the detail of the teeth. I lono why it sticks out here and not others, but it's nice!

I think your clouds are simply amazing ^_^ They really add the depth this piece needs. Look how happy the Kanakwah is with his big, open sky! :D
